What if I have to cancel my class?

All Poletes must cancel ANY scheduled class online at least 6 hours in advance. If you cancel less than 6 hours in advance you will be charged a late fee of $5. If you do not cancel and you do not show up, you will be charged a no show fee of $10. With only 7 poles in the studio, space is limited.

We honestly do not like charging people late cancel fees. However, we will be unable to make any exceptions. Please respect your fellow members and follow the "Golden Rule". Please limit your early cancellations to absolutely need-be, and only sign into classes you plan on being a part of. When we have many last minute cancellations, this could mean the entire class is cancelled on your couple fellow members who still planned on attending.


What Should I wear?

You want to wear something that you can move freely and feel comfortable in. Tank top and shorts are most preferred as skin is used to help you stick to the pole. We dance barefoot most of the time, but allow heels if you are comfortable. You will want to avoid applying any lotions or body oil the day you come to class as well. It can make the pole very slippery which can be very frustrating and dangerous.


How do I sign up?

Please visit our schedule/booking website and create an account (Sign Up). Choose the class that works best with your schedule and click on it. From there you will have choices on memberships and classes.  If this is your first time at Polarity, you have an opportunity of 2 weeks unlimited classes for only $49!  Email us for more information via our contact page.


How long are classes?

Classes can be 45 mins, 60 mins, 75 mins, or 90 mins depending on class type and level.


Can I just show up?

Because there is limited space we ask that you please sign in at least 3 hours before class begins. If you show up and spaces are filled we will have to ask you to attend a different class at another time, and if you show up and “0” people were signed in, the teacher will not be there.


When would a regularly scheduled class be canceled?

We try our hardest to not cancel class, but if no one is signed in 2 hours before the class it will be canceled. We urge you to please sign in to the class you would like to attend to ensure a spot is available and a teacher is there.

What if I have pole experience, can I take a higher level class?

We do require everyone to start at our studio with Intro to Polarity, as it will make your experience that much more beneficial as it will help you set the foundation for your practice. It’s never the same routine and helps build core muscles and flow of movement necessary for advancement. Quite a few of our dancers have taken it more than a few times and let us know it really changed their practice for the better!

We stay true to our levels at Polarity and ask that you place yourself in the level that best fits your ability. If you are not true to the leveled class you are taking, you will kindly be asked to take a level that better suits your practice until the skills required are met.

Please Remember: Pole dancing takes time and patience. Skipping the basics to get to the tricks can be very dangerous. Please take the time to learn and build the muscle you need before jumping into a higher level class. You can read about skill expectations for leveled classes by viewing the class description.


If I’m an experienced pole dancer, can I still take the lower level classes to brush up on my basics?

YES! We encourage everyone to brush up on the lower levels, as we tend to forget some of the small things when we advance. However, we do ask that you do what the class is learning. If you are taking a level 1-2, it is not time to practice your level 3-4 moves.  Similarly, we will ask our new Poletes to work up to the higher levels. We will also ask our higher level members to please be respectful of the lower level classes if attending, as all the crazy tricks can be very intimidating to some new girls. We want to encourage, not discourage.


Is my membership on Auto-Renewal?

Yes, all monthly memberships are placed on Auto-Renewal unless specified at purchase.


Can I freeze my membership instead of cancel?

We do not freeze any package, series, or month-to-month class options. We do offer a $20/month freeze for contract memberships only (3, 6, 12 month contract options for affordability). Please note: the contract will extend the amount of time frozen.  


How do I cancel my membership?

You may cancel your membership by emailing us 7 days before next scheduled charge. For early cancellation of 3, 6, & 12 month contract memberships, there will be a 10% fee of any remaining months to cover the discounted membership option.


Is Polarity Fitness only for women?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! We welcome all bodies, all genders, and anyone who strives like we do to get fit, feel sexy, and have fun!
